The game we created called “A Certain Boy’s Dream” is an educational game that is targeted towards kindergarten children. The purpose of the game is to make children become more proficient with numbers and allow them to distinguish which number is bigger or smaller much more easily. The game will also improve their hand eye coordination and do simple addition problems much faster. The enemy of the game moves slowly in order for the game to be simple and easy for children. In order to play the game, the children will have to be able to differentiate numbers and compare them, they will also have to learn addition to be able to defeat the boss.

Project Background

When we were told that the game should be educational and is targeted towards kindergarten children. We decided to make a game where it is easy for children to play and not get frustrated but instead letting them have fun. The game is slow so that it can be an exercise to improve the child’s hand eye coordination. The game is also design to familiarize kindergarten children with numbers and to help them calculate simple addition problem much faster. The layout and animation of the game is always moving to keep them excited and not get bored very quickly.
